What is meditation?
Mindfulness Meditation has been scientifically proven to reduce anxiety and depression, improve cognition and body-satisfaction, and even minimizes age and race bias while enhancing compassion and appreciation. The beneficial effects of regular mindfulness practices provide immediate relief and lasting positive effects for months at a time (Cho, 2016).
The University of Oxford discovered that when mindfulness meditation is paired with cognitive behavioral therapy, it is as effective as antidepressants medication in treating relapse (Walton, 2015).
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer
