Safety, Comfort & a Sweet New Year: Lucky Penny Farm Continues to Deliver in the Age of Covid-19

It has been…quite a year.

For our customers, the impact of the Covid-19 coronavirus has been severe.

Many friends have struggled to maintain their health and their businesses.

While Lucky Penny commits to the FDA’s Covid-19 Food Safety Precautions (see links below) and we follow our local guidelines, we also face the need to adapt how we work and connect to our community during the pandemic.

Here’s what we’ve done:

1. Deliver much needed goat milk products to home-bound customers who need alternatives to cow and nut milk for their health

2. Prioritize long shelf life products – like sweet dessert products Cajeta and Goat Milk Fudge – that don’t require refrigeration so they can more easily be sold online

3. Increase promotion of goat milk soap – we all have been washing our hands (and hooves!) a lot more these days, and our goat milk soap is great for repeated use as it is much gentler on your skin than other soap and sanitizer products

We’ve been impressed with the creative work of other food providers to change how they do business.

We’re also grateful for the support we’ve received from Portage County, Ohio, which has helped keep us in business this year
